44 Days and counting...
44 Days until Christmas... Hmmm... I cannot decide if I am excited or scared.... It's my favorite holiday, and this will be Shelby's first here with us. We have been so blessed this year, that I don't think there is anything more that we could ask for.
Unless it's for the kittens to calm down a little..... A little less rip-and-tear would be great...
I'm just now getting the menu together for Thanksgiving Dinner here also. This may be our last year of hosting it since we have Shelby here, we'll be hosting Christmas now and I'll be passing the torch onto my sister.
I'm anxious to see how she handles all of the family together... not sure if she will shine through, or retreat into her bashful act... It's funny how she can turn that on and off.
Anyway, the count is on!

Happy Halloween!
We had trick or treat night last night, and let me tell you....
I know one little girl that was very excited to pass out candy! She was pointing and saying "Hi Kids" while they were 2 houses away. She'd grab some candy from the dish and wait for them to come up on the porch. She was just amazed at the costumes.
We didn't do the costume and treating ourselves this year as I wasn't sure she was ready for that, but after seeing the reaction this year, we may split the 2 hours and do 1 hr of passing and 1 hr of collecting next year.
Taken in mid-giggle...It's like an explosion when she smiles like this...

Yep, More cuteness...
Because she's not done yet! She's quite the pooper!
Have I mentioned how great it is that she goes on the potty?
She is starting to go all by herself now.
She loves it, and is doing really well with the adjustment.
She comes home singing songs almost everyday.
Look at that smile!
She loves pig-tails in her hair!
It's slowly getting longer, so it's easier to get into them.

Photo Round-up...
National Apple Harvest Festival
with Nana and her buddy Pam.
so odd, because she's usually quite fearless.
the three of them all snuggled together

They obviously don't know me well....
fire suits, the siren, or the truck at all!
realizing it at the time, but the dalmatian on the
fridge was from the day before...
The spots are her finger prints... cool idea!

well this is just something to ponder until my next post...
sister Amy, and had to get a photo...
